It's a simple mixture of ground almonds and sugar. However, the consistency lends itself to hand made artistry much like sculpture. The end result are beautifully shaped fruits that look real but taste sublime. Marzipan is a sophisticated confection that is not for everyone. But if you know a marzipan lover--and there are many--this is a basket they will truly appreciate.
Includes 3 pounds (approximately 6 pieces) of the freshest fruit or the season (may include apples, pears, kiwi, oranges, mango, avocado) along with 9 marzipan fruits.
